A tantalising trip to Russia

For months now I have been trying to contain my excitement about the thought of my trip to Russia! I have always wanted to go there, and last year I finally decided that the time was right to head over there. I have been on the internet non-stop recently, looking at all of the fantastic things I will be able to do out there. I came across a great site which was a russian photo gallery and it did nothing to dampen my spirits! If anything it made me even more excited!

I had decided that I was going to have an action packed holiday, and I had been saving up for some very special experiences. I wanted to head to the Moscow space flight training centre, which is now open to the general public. If you go there now there are a host of things you can do, which replicate the training that the Russian astronauts undertake as training for their travels into space. I had already decided what I was going to do, and I decided that before I headed out to Russia, I was going to book myself onto one of the online flight simulators. The thought of being weightless was so thrilling – I had always watched in wonder on television when they showed footage of people floating around, trying to catch their breakfast in their mouths! It was amazing that I would be able to do the same thing! I wanted to do as much of the space flight training as was possible, and I suspect that I will spend most of my week there!

Whether I am at the space flight training centre, or taking in the beautiful architecture of Moscow, I know that I am going to have the holiday of my life.
